Join the ROSE POGS Grand Prix Tournament! November 30, 2006
Push your pedal to the metal as you race along the Level Up! Road to Supremacy in the ROSE POGS Grand Prix! Better start tuning those cart engines because it's an adrenaline rush all the way to the checkered flag. You've felt the thrill of cart racing online-now you'll feel twice the excitement because you'll be competing with other players face-to-face!
If you make it through the qualifiers, keep yourself in high gear because the finals will take place at the Philippine Online Gaming Summit (POGS) 2006, where the country's biggest online games like Flyff, Pangya and Khan will be holding their national championships.
Here's how to join:
Mechanics
1. Eligibility
a. The ROSE POGS Grand Prix tournament is open to all players of Philippine ROSE Online.
b. Participants must use their actual characters. Participants may not change characters for the duration of the tournament (from qualifiers to finals).
c. A maximum of two hundred (200) participants will be allowed to join.
d. The first fifty (50) participants will be given an Early Bird prize.
e. As entrance fee, each participant must pay P50 and present an unused Level Up! game card with a minimum value of P50.
2. Date and Venue
Qualifiers - November 30, 2006, Station 168, Tomas Morato
Ingress and Registration - 11:00 am to 1:00 pm
Elimination Rounds - 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Finals - January 13, 2007, Philippine Trade Training Center (PTTC), Pasay
3. General Conditions
a. Participants will be called to race one by one.
b. Participants must complete three (3) laps around Dolphin Island without using any shortcuts.
c. The judge will record the participant's time.
d. At the end of the day, the ten (10) participants with the fastest times win. They will advance to the finals at POGS 2006.
4. Prizes
There will be ten (10) winners. Each winner will get one (1) 15 DEF Crackshot Ring.
Early Bird Prizes
There will be fifty (50) Early Bird winners. Each winner will get one (1) 13 DEF Lucky Necklace. *These prizes will be given after the event.
