Collected information.
Information collected by RoseGuru.com is not shared with any 3rd parties outsite of our own private network of websites, known as mmorpgGuru. Those currently include, RoseGuru.com, MuHQ.com, L2HQ.com, KalHQ.com, LoMHQ.com, RYLHQ.com, doHQ.com, mmorpgGuru.com and XiahHQ.com. All these sites are owned and managed by the same team.
Personal information.
We do not generally collect any personal information such as name, address, telephone number. If we run a competition, winners may be required to provide a name and address for prize delivery purposes. None of this information will ever be shared with 3 parties outside of mmorpgGuru.
What is collected and how is it used?
Email address: This is required when registering on our websites.
It will never given out or sold to 3rd parties. It is used for several
purposes. One is to help prevent mass account registration spammers.
Our forums require an email address for certain functions such as
email notification of new private messages and email notification
of any topics or forums you choose to subscribe to. These features
can be disabled in your user control panel. On rare occasions we may
also send out promotional messages. You can opt out of this by choosing
to not receive administrator notifications in your user control panel.
If you choose to allow it, members may email each other via the forum
email function. All emails sent using this function are logged.
IP address: Our forums store members IP adresses. They are used to track fraudulent, abusive or illegal activity on our forums and on occasions block those offending individuals from accessing our site.
Your ingame stats:
We allow members to enter their ingame character details such as class, level and guild. Such information is displayed to all under members avatars on the forum and in members public profiles. It may also be used to improve website navigation, example: members with 'hawker' stored as their class will automatically be shown hawker specific items first when browsing item pages.
Cookies
Cookies are used for some website functions such as remembering your logged in status and remembering which forum threads or posts you have already read. You can disable cookies in your internet browsers but these functions will cease to work.

We may, where required by law provide information to legal agencies.

We use BUDS INC and other third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit our Web site.
