OK.
Well, first off I would like to say I am a part of the EthereaL clan, and am a captain of it. We're recruiting 5 more members, and soon to come the second "batch" of 15.
Now lets get started with the guide:
The most important thing you should know, for newbies especially..
YOU DON'T NEED A CLAN UNTIL LEVEL 45+
I hear many of you out there yelling and screaming on the shout channel to get into any clan possible.
Yes, it makes you look "cool", but not if you're going to have alot of low levels in the clan.
So, you say, "Why can't I have a low level clan!?"
ANSWER: Because you can't gain anything of it until about level 50 or so, what I mean is that basically you made a clan for the chat channel. If you understand that, then fine, go ahead if you still want to.
Managing a clan, Basics:
One thing you need for success is, yes, common sense.
Don't invite people who have no potential, and definately don't invite a friend's 3 Mule/Packrat characters that are level 1.
Another thing would be to find members who are online quite a bit, an active clan is always better than, a...non...active one.

Clan Points/Field Basics:
So, you wanna see what all this clan skill/clan points thing is about? Good, I'll tell you what exactly they do.
When a leader decides he wants clan points, he goes to the clan master NPC, and, not suprisingly, asks clanmates to come help him out in the clan field for awhile.
Getting there is just like I said, leader talks to clan master NPC.
Pretty straightforward from there, aye?
Now you know a little bit about clans and how you handle them.
Once you're in the clan field, you'll notice you're on a large island with 4 harbors that take you back to Junon Polis.
This island has about 4-5 Spawns which respawn continuously.
First, I'd recommend the Aqua spawn to clans levels 50-65
This is a pretty tough spawn if you're 5x, my personal remedy is having all of your soldiers spam spin attack on all of the aqua warriors and then have hawkers weaken the guardian.
If you do this, they die, and consquently they drop items! (No WAY!)
You'll get ALOT of powders, hearts, and some other refining materials. Crystals, etc. ..
Another thing you notice is that clan points drop in the little spikey round things like Stamina, HP, and MP ones do.
They have come in +1, +2, +3, and +5 for me so far, harder spawns drop more.
The guardian almost always drops some and occasionally some of the others protecting him do.
For different spawns that I know of, theres...
Grunter/Tree spawn..
Level recommended for: 60's or 70's
This can be extremely tough since the trees all shoot things at you while trying to weaken the massive guardian.
Don't try this if you're 5x, of course unless you wanna lose exp.
Crafi Spawn:
Levels 70-80
This is a VERY hard spawn, I don't recommend for anybody low 6x to even think about it. If you can tank all of genzi's beach, I suppose go for it.
Golem Spawn:
Level = 80's
About 4-5 8x can take this on, but its going to require a bit of effort..Some are ranged, and know how to use it, hawkers are good here for sure, soldiers might want to have DEF Buffs on..Lol.
Goblin Spawn:
Levels 95-115
Well as you can see, this is not for the faint of heart.
I don't think any clan in Internation ROSE at this time can take on the goblin spawn..You would need SERIOS defense and muses to take out magicians. You shouldn't even drive too close to this one if you're 5x-6x..(Drops a NICE amount of clan points I might add^^)
Well now you've heard me gripe to you about all the spawns, be careful and have fun, most of all respect people that are trying to get clan points..(EG: Shinigami clan tries to ks and kill you while you are innocently hunting an aqua/grunter spawn..)
CLAN LEVELING!
Although I don't know a whole lot about this myself, I know enough.
Once you get up to 1000 Clan points, you get a "Clan LvL up".
When you level up, you get a new clan skill, which varies I'm pretty sure..
This doesn't require a massive amount of explanation but from what I hear and have played/seen in Japanese ROSE, you can get a "Camp" at level 3.
This is your clan's own personal camp, and has some benifits as far as npc's, etc. healing, whatever.
