Chrissy’s full support Cleric’s guide
if you want to be a good and not lazy cleric ^.^
Author: chrissy
Class: muse Job: cleric
Type: general Difficulty: advanced
Average rating: 7.4/10 Total Votes: 30

Hi I’m chrissy a lvl 104+ Cleric of the desperado gods and here is my cleric guide tongue.gif

1. Stats
2. Skills
3. Tips
4. Gear
5. Using money

STR: Only add this if you die too much when you’re being attacked or when a mob does his AOE. Add it later for a shield (36str), I recommend this only if you have a topaz +20 or higher, so don’t put a topaz +5 in it.
DEX: No need to add this, don’t chose this instead of STR, yea it will make you a little bit faster but you wont notice it when fighting because you need a lot DEX/avo to get the mobs really missing you.
INT: 2 Words, pump it, this makes your buffs stronger and makes you have a larger mp pool, its every clerics need.
CON: Leave this stat as you don’t need to hit anything, and buffs wont miss:P
CHA: Leave this stat too
SEN: Same as CHA

Skills for muse (no cleric yet):
I will only describe the meditation bar since this is a full support guide.

Meditation: Passive skill, first to get, you need it for buffs and it gives you much mp add.
Cure: Second skill to get, I think you understand this.
Healing: This will heal the whole party at the same time, very handy because you don’t need to heal everybody apart, but it will heal less as cure and will cost you more mp.
Lesser haste: Buff for mspeed, get it because you need it for the other buffs.
Power support: Increases attack power, get it of course
Hitting support: Increases hit rate, real good buff you can get blessing first, up to you.
Blessing: Increases max hp, some say its useless but its not, your whole party will have more hp so that’s a good thing.
Blessing mind: This skill is not necessary, pumps up your party’s max mp.
Enchant armour: Increases your defence, only lasts for 30 seconds but it gives really a lot of def so its very handy when your under big attack, get it too lvl 5 if you want party defence later.
Bonfire: Up to you to take this skill, I didn’t take it I think it’s totally useless, especially when you move to luna because you will need to run around a lot there.
Curse: forget about this skill, whoever takes this must be crazy.
Purify: Will purify you and a selected friends, for example: it will let disappear a ghosts dodge down and slow run, very handy for example guardians in clan field, you get rid of the dodge down because otherwise all the mobs will be hitting your friend if it is a hawker.

Skills for cleric:
I will only describe the meditation bar since this is a full support guide.

Meditation: Max this as soon as possible, gives you very much mp bonus, mp recovery rate, and you need it maxed to get the real cleric buffs.
Battle support: Gives attack speed up, get this as first, you only need power support lvl 5 so you must get it at lvl 70 immediately.
Critical support: Gives critical up, it’s a really good buff because criticals are just too good, in combination with double attack or triple attack from any class you will do massive damage.
Damage support: This buffs gives a % of additional damage, you won’t see that % in your stats, but you will notice it when you are doing damage, and it’s really good (at least that is what my party mates say tongue.gif). Also this buff is the only buff that doesn’t get better with more INT, the % will always be the same.
Defence aura: Now you got these three attack support skills I advise you to take them to lvl 5 first, then decide if you want party defence up or not, I took it and even at lvl 1 the party mates said it really helps.
Evasion aura: Uppers party’s dodge, I won’t take this because it will only work out for hawkers and is totally useless for other players (unless that player has real high dex). (now with irose almost all attack classes are hawkers, but this guide is for erose and I don’t think there will be that much hawkers again).
Magical defence up: Uppers your party’s mdef, I think this is totally useless because it will only work for ghosts and magic attack based mobs, and there are not many like that. But I must say it works good against astarots and astarot kings because of their magic AOE, but there will only be a few people who will fight these mobs.
Resurrection: Will revive the selected character (not possible in clan field with other clans), but watch out, don’t resurrect when you are doing mobs with AOE, for example: oops you were watching TV and a party member died, you resurrect him, he got low hp, the mammoth jumps again and he will lose 3% again, so wait until the mammoth dies. Oh and if you think you are a good cleric don’t get it because you wont let anybody die tongue.gif. Notice it will give back 1,5% xp but this is at maxed lvl and costs around 200SP so… I think that’s waste of SP’s.

Some tips how I played my cleric, aka my techniques:

I always ask party leader because of my way of buffing here it is:
So I got party leader, all members gathered before fighting, I do aura buffs, buff myself first… yes myself first, and then buff everybody on the list from up to down. Why? Because you will be the first one to start losing buffs, so you can buff all over again the same way so nobody will miss a buff. I don’t know if anyone else uses this technique but I made it up myself and I like it myself, and my party members like the buffing method too so I recommend it. About aura buffs, wait until all party members are in range and then do your aura buffs so nobody will miss them, are your party members separated most of the time? Perform the aura buffs every time when they are together.

I have seen cleric with other buffing ways, they have parties with half buffed people and I think that sucks smile.gif.

Gear:

Staff or wand (recommended: wand)?
Pre for staff: More attack power and hit, this is not really necessary though, higher mp % consumption (skills will costs less mp)
Con for staff: only 1 slot avaible so that will mean less int, no distance attack.
Pre for wand: You can use it with a shield, so 2 slots for topaz’, or in combination with a muse shield that adds mp and mp recovery rate. Also distance attack.
Con for wand: Less attack power and hit rate, less mp % consumption.
Note: Don’t refine your wand or staff! It’s useless since you’re not build to attack!

A clerics clothing:
Stats: What a cleric needs is a lot of INT, clothing can have stats, you need INT stats on your clothing. Ask an artisan what’s needed to craft the clothing for your lvl (I say start this when you have reached second job). Next ask your friends to keep that material if they find it and put it in your shop’s buy tab for a very low price. Then massive craft clothes and hope for good INT stats (2INT, 5% mp decrease is also a very good stat).
Refinements: Don’t refine your clothing for the dodge, refine them for the defence, so using for example transparent powder for (3) is good, you just need the extra defence, not the dodge.
Mask: Look for a mask with 2INT, 5% mp decrease or a nice INT add (like 4INT or more). These are usually pretty cheap so that will be no problem.

Gems:
Ask your friend to keep topaz’ for you because they won’t need them but you do, they will also improve from that because your buffs will be better. I say you save up items from lvl 1 (blue crystals, topaz’ from any grade, refines) and then make gems with minimal +15 INT. Also try to buy topaz’ cheap in your shop’s buy tab because people will always sell them and you will save a lot money because buying for shops is most of the time much more expensive.

Using money:

Use your money for the following things:
- Buying int stated gear
- Buying materials for gear crafting
- Buying mana pots (OJ will due till lvl 70, after that you have to switch over to ice berry’s or fast recovering mp pots, also always make sure you have some hp pots because you never know…)

To be rich (or just not poor tongue.gif): sell items to shops if they are buying becouse it will give you more money then the NPC (unless its a scammer...)

If you have a lot of spare money you better keep it, because if you really need to buy something at a moment its better to have big money then being poor after that or not even being able to buy it.

The end tongue.gif

Good luck with you’re cleric, its not boring at all tongue.gif. I hope to see you guys again in eRose, for questions and stuff my email/msn is mart89 (at) gmail (dot) com. Bye bye happy.gif
