Hawkers/Raiders are the characters of ROSE who foremost depend on their dodge and speed to defeat their foes. Close combat fighters, hawkers can be just as effective as soldiers, applying high damage blows while avoiding all the attacks the enemy is giving back. So relizing this we can start the guide. (By the way a garnet as a birthstone would help)

KATARS(Knuckles) AND DUALS-

Duals as most say do look cooler, and they provide the user with more powerful attacks than katars. Statswise duals require more STR(Strength) to max out the full damage potential, therefore for dual weilders depend more on their amount of hp they have, and usually less on their dodge. Katars on the other hand are less powerful but MUCH quicker, increasing the amount of attacks you put in. So katar weilders usually have a decent amount of STR and a decent amount of SEN(Sensitivity). Since sen increases your critical hit rate having a fairly good amount of sen will help you make up for ur low attack power of the katar, since you will be getting criticals like MAD. Personally I think katars are better suited to the hawker build, so I use katars. Most people use dauls either for the power urge, or the looks. Otherwise it's up to you.

STATS-

STR(Strenght)=Increases attack power of physical up close weapons
(1 handed swords, 2 handed swords, spears, axes, crossbows, and partialy katars), increases max HP, and defense.
DEX(Dextirity)=Increases movement speed, aviation, attack speed, power of bows, and increases partialy power of katars.
INT(Intelligence)=Increases max MP, magic defense, magic attack.
CON(Concentration)=Increases accuracy of all weapons, power of guns , increases the recovery rate of HP and MP, increases succsses rate of crafting.
CHA(Charm)=Raises the amount of good items rewarded for quest, the drop rate of items, and raises monsters eagerness to attack you (So more charm, more times you are just walking and out of no where a monster attacks you).
Sen(Sensitivity)=Raises your critical hit rate, raises amount of damage you deal when using skills, and increases the quality of items crafted from dealers.

Stat Builds-

Katar and dual hawkers use two different builds, thats why its important to not switch between katars and duals. For a katar hawker as I said before requires a decent amount of SEN and STR, while having a good amount of DEX. Therefore I use SCHALL'S stats build 1:2:1 STR:DEX:SEN. For dual weilders, SEN isn't as important, but STR is much more useful for duals than katars, but also dual weilders do need a good amount of dex too, or else they wouldnt be hawkers. So one stat build of dual weilding hawker is 2:4:1 STR:DEX:SEN. This allows a good amount of STR, alot of DEX for dodge, and a good amount of sen for some criticals.

Now for CON all you need to worry about is having less than 45 by the time you are lvl 70. Why so little? Hawkers get a attack acuracy buff called "Hawker spirit". So when you feel like you are missing alot even with hawker spirit just add a bit of con.

Skills-

DO NOT GET ANY BOW SKILLS (Aim shot, Poison shot, etc.)

I will say the number of importance of the skills through numbers 1-10, 10 being the most important.

Knuckle mastery(10)- In order to get the full potential of damage of katars and duals you will definetly need knucle mastery. MAX THIS SKILL OUT.

Combat mastery(10)-This mastery increases the attack speed of katars and duals very MUCH, this is wat hawkers are known for very very fast attacks. MAX THIS SKILL OUT.

Rest mastery(3)-This skill allows you to recover your Hp/Mp at a fast pace. But since you will have a fairly good amount of Hp because of your STR, it is fairly useless. This skill was meant for bow hawkers because they barely have any Hp.

Hawker spirit(10)-Hawker spirit allows your character to have tons of attack accuracy with barely any con. This also allows your character to focus more on building other stats. MAX OUT.

Double Attack(8)-This skill depends alot on you SEN, therefore katar hawkers should get it. Another great thing is that this skill opens up alot of other great skills. I maxed it out.

Power attack(7)-Good for dual weilders becuase their STR. I find it less effective at higher level(Of course I use katars though). But you either want this skill or double attack, or else your just wasting skill points. MAX THIS OUT.

Sprint(9)-Hawkers are known for their movement speed, they're ability to run faster than carts. Also sprint helps you level faster since you can run monster to monster faster. MAX THIS SKILL OUT OR ITS USELESS.

Spiral kick(4)- Although weak and is a magic attack some people find it useful deafetaing giant mobs because its range of attack. Although I don't know why people get it, a crapload of Vital jams and Charms are better.

Screw attack(10)-If you don't get any other skill get this one. This helps you lower the enemies defense while giving the most damage out of all the hawker skills. (Well at least until lvl 70)

Heart hit(8)- At lower levels its success rate sucks, but once at about level 5 it lowers the enemies attack speed about 60%. A good skill, but its not a must. Although if you do get it it is a good idea to max it out.

ARMOR(Clothes)-

The first 2 armors for hawkers are pretty bad, good idea to just use desinger clothes. When you get to higher levels good idea to get armors with stats, preferably Str and dex. Rare armor is also good (clothes with blue names). Refining armor is useless until past level 60, but if your urge to glow is so great you can go ahead......

Gems-Have differnt grades (1,2,3,etc.) 7 being the highest.

If you want to build your stats according to your gems always build your stats according to the gems in your socketed earing, ring, and necklace, never your 4th gem in your socketed weapon because you will not always have a slotted weapon.

Garnets(DEX)-I have 4 garnet 7's and they've never failed me, great gems since Dex is a primary stat for hawkers.

Ruby(STR)-If you want you can get a Ruby 7, but for Katar hawkers Rubies aren't very effective since you dont need as much STR.

Perdiots(Atack Speed)-Perdiots are useless for Katar users since your weapons are already fairly fast, but for dual weilders a perdiot in your socketed weapon will help.

Diamond(Attack Power)-Since katars have low power, a Diamond7
is fairly effective.

Emrald(SEN)-For katar hawkers you do need alot of SEN so a emerald 7 would be nice.

(PERSONALLY I THINK 4 GARNETS 7's ARE THE BEST COMBO)

PVP

Hawkers can beat any class that doesnt have to much CON. Hawkers can even beat Dealers sometimes, unless the dealer has four or three Sappire 7's(Raises con). Also elementals buffed from a muse is something to be aware of.

If you find yourself losing alot, usually the other person is wise and has alot of con, he/she is a higher level than you, or you have no dex.
